Fernando Campos – Portugal

Fernando Campos has a university degree in Telecommunications Systems and Electronics Engineering from Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa (Lisbon Higher Institute for Engineering).

In 2009 he completed a Course inAdvanced Training in Information Technology and Communication, and Education at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon, and he is currently studying for his Doctorate in Education, specializing in ICT in Education, at the Education Institute of the University of Lisbon, undertaking research in the field of Digital Learning Resources (DLR). Before becoming a teacher, he worked in the field of Systems and Computers for 10 years.

He teaches technological education at Cardoso Lopes School and has been part of the Educational Resources and Technologies Team of the Ministry of Educationsince the 2009/2010 academic year. He was ICT coordinator, disciplinary delegate and teachers’ representative on the General Council.

At the MoE he is involved in such projects as Seguranet and iTEC, where he is National Technical Coordinator, EQNet, and in the Resources area of the Schoolsportal, among others.

He is also a teacher trainer in the area of continuing education in Educational Technologies, Interactive Whiteboards and creation of quality digital educational resources.
