Mihaela Garabet – Romania

Mihaela is teaching Physics and ICT in high school from Bucharest. She has a PhD in Physics  (Educational Physics) and a Master Degree in ICT in Education. She is a teacher trainer in what concerns the use of ICT in teaching and learning activities and co-author of Physics Handbooks and where is always trying to include ICT facilities.

In 2009, her school was selected as one of the 30 Pathfinder Schools and she coordinates the Innovative Schools  Programme. In 2010 her team took The Second Prize in the European Microsoft Innovative Forum (Berlin) in the field of Innovation in Community.

In 2011 Mihaela was a teacher coach at The Global Forum from Washington DC and her team took the second place in The Learning Activities Contest.
